Joanne Baum, PhD, LCSW, CAS (Preferred Pronouns She/Her/Hers) has been in private practice since 1981. Dr. Baum is now licensed in Colorado, and Indiana, and has applied for licensure in Florida as well. Joanne divides her time between Naples, Florida and Morrison, Colorado. She has been doing Telehealth since May 2014 when she took off on a two year adventure traveling in an RV. Post Covid she may be available again for “in person” sessions as well as Telehealth. When Joanne is not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends, painting, writing, swimming, Yoga, walking and hiking.

Dr. Baum has authored four books including the 2007 Independent Publishers Association ( IPPY) Gold Medal winner in the Parenting category.

Dr. Baum teaches workshops and seminars for professionals, paraprofessionals and the public throughout the country including: Substance Abuse and Addiction, Co-Dependency, Trauma, Divorce in Respectful and Humane Ways, Co-Parenting, Dealing With Difficult People, Dealing with Mental Health Issues, Brainspotting, Aging, The Sandwich Generation, and How To Communicate More Effectively.
